Smart City Stories From Uruguay

Montevideo is now one of the smartest cities in the region, bringing together government, tech companies, and engaging public.

One of the tech companies that has helped is Pyxis. Through digital innovation and chatbots, they helped the government inform the public on various issues, like how best to take advantage of public transportation during peak times and directing traffic to reduce CO2 emission. Pyxis chatbots and AI also assisted in healthcare education on social media during a widespread Dengue epidemic.
