Melanie Aronson is the founder and CEO of Panion, a BBC and CNBC featured app for finding like-minded people nearby based on shared interests, values, and goals. She has a bachelor’s in anthropology from Columbia University and a master’s in documentary filmmaking from the School of Visuals Arts in NYC.
Her professional background includes three years with Apple as a personal shopping specialist, and ten years as a freelance filmmaker, photographer, and designer – taking full advantage of her high education.
After receiving a Fulbright grant in 2014, she moved from New York to Sweden – and has lived here ever since.
