Sean Ellis, the founder and former CEO of GrowthHackers, coined the term “Growth Hacking” in Silicon Valley 2010 while looking for marketers with specialized attitudes and tools for rapid growth. He developed and applied Growth Hacking at companies like Dropbox, Eventbrite, LogMeIn, and Lookout – which are now worth over billions of dollars today.
He’s the co-author of “Hacking Growth,” a book translated into 16 languages focusing on how to attain, retain, engage, and monetize customers.
Sean is also an experienced entrepreneur who founded Qualaroo, a customer insight company with clients like Uber, Intuit, Starbucks, and Amazon. He served as the CEO until its acquisition by a private equity firm.
